Deforestation happens all over the world but, it can be found mostly in the tropical rainforests. Deforestation has happened in countries like West Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Central America, Northern South America, Indonesia,Brazil, and in developing places such a cities or where people are building roads.Rainforests have been disappearing since the 1900s. This is usually in tropical rainforests because the lumber is better quality and because farmers need farmland. Deforestation can happen because  people need to support their families and clear the forest for profit of the wood.   Also to make more farmland and make travel easier. Many people weren’t taught to save the rainforest, So deforestation can happen anywhere. Deforestation happens in forests and rainforests because there are many trees in one area, unlike Arizona where they can not deforest because they dont  have as many trees in one area, where a rainforest has many trees.
